Iryna Domashenko
Born in 1980 in Odesa, Ukraine.
Resides and works in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Iryna Domashenko is a Ukrainian photographic artist based in Kyiv. Her work explores the relationship between the body, nature, and inner psychological states through images of fragility, beauty, and transformation. Working between abstraction and figuration, she creates photographic compositions that invite introspection and multiple interpretations. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in museum collections in Ukraine.
Her photographic practice is rooted in an intuitive process, moving between abstraction and figuration. Using form, texture, light, and visual ambiguity, she creates images that function as spaces for reflection – where floral, bodily, and abstract elements converge in contemplative compositions shaped by emotional resonance, inner transformation, and a heightened sensitivity to the fragility of life.
